Hi,
I using the RDAVIDWebService packages and would like to set my species manually. Where can I find a complete list of all species available?
I'm using the following code:
> david <- DAVIDWebService$new(email="myemail", url="https://david.ncifcrf.gov/webservice/services/DAVIDWebService")
> setCurrentSpecies(david, <myspecies>)
I've tried both with "Gallus gallus" and inputing random numbers (incase I could brute force it)
This is my output > setCurrentSpecies(david, "Gallus gallus") Error in object$setCurrentSpecies(species) : is.numeric(species) is not TRUE
> setCurrentSpecies(david, 1) Error in object$setCurrentSpecies(species) : all(species %in% seq(along = getSpecieNames())) is not TRUE
I can let the webservice decide when inputing a genelist of course and that works fine, but if anyone knows how do it manually I would appreciate that info
Cheers, Andrey

You can try getCurrentSpecies() and then decide what to put in setCurrentSpecies(david, ??)
