Entrez GeneID not available for recently available genome

I would like to run functional analyses in DAVID using Entrez Gene IDs for the Pacific cod (Gadus macrocephalus) which has a recently published and annotated genome that available on NCBI. However, the Entrez Gene IDs are not being recognized. What is the process for requesting new genome information to be included in your database yet? In the absence of updating the database, how do you recommend that I proceed?
