I analysed my data sometime ago using David version 6.8 available online at that time. I tried to rerun the same dataset but one of Uniprot original identifiers (H4_BOVIN/P62803) is giving me 5 different identificators: From To Species Gene Name H4_BOVIN 527645 Bos taurus H4 clustered histone 11(H4C11) H4_BOVIN 280691 Bos taurus H4 clustered histone 2(H4C2) H4_BOVIN 617875 Bos taurus H4 clustered histone 4(H4C4) H4_BOVIN 526789 Bos taurus histone H4(LOC526789) H4_BOVIN 530773 Bos taurus H4 histone 16(H4C16) As so, when I enter a list of 41 candidates, I end up with 45 candidates being identified. I believe this is introducing a bias into the analysis since it will push the system as if 5 entries of H4 were identified, giving me an erroneous analysis. I have been trying to reanalyse the data using v6.8 (before it was possible to select the version for the analysis) but I am no longer being able to do so. Could I please get some help on this issue? Thank you in advance for your help. ![]()
