Hi all,
I want to use DAVID's R package, but, in order to do so, I have to sign up with an institutional email address, which I've done, but I have yet to get any sort of confirmation email that would indicate to me that I've been signed up. Is it still possible to sign up to use RDAVIDWebService in R?

Hi Arta, We do not send out an email to confirm successful registration but you should have been taken to a page with a message about success once you clicked on the "Register" button. I was able to confirm that you were registered through our database. You may also confirm this with the url: david.ncifcrf.gov/webservice/services/DAVIDWebService/authenticate?args0=YourRegis...@your.org . Please note that your email address is case sensitive and in your case, it is all lowercase. You should now be able to use the webservice through the R package. Regards, Brad

I’m trying to authenticate to use RDAVIDWebService in R right now and I keep getting the following error message:
david <- DAVIDWebService$new(email='xxxxxx@xxx.edu') Error in .jcall(stub, "S", "authenticate", email) : org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: Transport error: 301 Error: Moved Permanently

Hello Arta,
I believe the package uses the old http address by default. If you include the url parameter as follows, does it help?
email="xxxxxx@xxx.edu", url="https://david.ncifcrf.gov/webservice/services/DAVIDWebService.DAVIDWebServiceHttpSoap12Endpoint/"
