Hi there,
When I upload my background list DAVID crashes.
I have a gene ID background list (~26,800 genes) that I am looking to upload for an RNAseq analysis. Previously this has worked without a problem, but now the progress bar at the top is stuck at 20% and the list does not appear. I have tried entering into the text box as well as uploading as a text file, as well as using different browsers, different computers, etc.
Do you have any suggestions as to how I can get this list to upload?

Hi Jess,
Is your list made up of Entrez Gene identifiers or some other identifier type?

Thanks Jess. Lists of that size can take a few minutes to upload but should go through in a reasonable amount of time. We have noticed that DAVID has had some additional traffic recently which could be affecting things. Would you mind emailing us the list so that we can test it on our side?

Is there an update to this thread? I am running into a similar issue with a Entrez Gene ID list with ~ 13,000 genes.

Hi, I'm running into the same issue too with an official-gene-symbol with 2500 genes only. Any solutions? thanks

You can send a sample of your lists to DAVID team via email to get their response more quickly than posting here.
